for Posters for the Technical Forum
The Mixed Severity Fire Regimes: Ecology and Management Planning
Committee welcomes anyone interested in submitting a poster during
2004 Symposium to send an abstract to Washington State University
Extension Meeting Management by September 24, 2004. After evaluating
the abstract, an acceptance notification will be sent. The Planning
Committee will give highest priority to Poster dealing with mixed-severity
fire regimes.
AFE
will present an award for "Best Student Poster." A minimum
of 10 posterboards will be reserved for student posters. The Awards
Committee will give highest priority to Posters dealing with mixed-severity
fire regimes.

Poster Information
• Poster content should include research findings or educational
techniques for teaching. Exhibit space is available for commercial
displays.
• Submit your 250 word (or less) abstract electronically
using the Poster Submittal form below,
• You will receive a "Poster Abstract received"
confirmation.
• Abstracts will be screened as they arrive, so you may
get confirmation in less than 3 weeks; otherwise all poster acceptance/denial
notifications will be sent via email no later than October 1,
2004
• Posters will attach to freestanding poster board by pins.
• It is suggested that poster authors bring a hanging folder
that can be pinned to poster board for holding papers.
• It is suggested that poster authors bring 8½ x11
copies of poster or associated paper to make available to attendees
when they visit.
• If you want your poster (paper) included in a conference
CD-ROM proceedings, it must be submitted no later than October
15, 2004.
• Authors will be assigned specific time to be at their
posters to allow attendees opportunities to meet with authors.
Poster authors will have scheduled time to meet with other poster
presenters.
