Greetings
from Washington State University!
On
behalf of the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural
Resource Sciences and WSU Extension, we warmly welcome you
to the Evergreen State! Washington is one of the most beautiful and diverse
states in the union – agriculturally, geographically
and demographically. It provides the perfect backdrop for
the important work you are doing this week.
You
have two wonderful opportunities to hone your professional
skills while in Seattle – the CSREES conference as well
as the Diversity conference that follows. The things you’ll
learn, the issues you’ll discuss, and the colleagues
you meet will provide you with a number of new tactics to
address the changes and challenges at home.
We
hope you’ll take a moment, too, to enjoy the Emerald
City. Seattle is a fresh, fun, dynamic place with much to
see – Pike Place Market (complete with fish tossing),
the Seattle Aquarium, the Art Museum, the Space Needle and
more. The food is great, and the coffee is strong. Enjoy!
