STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION

Submission deadlines for Papers:

Completed papers are due

There will be two prizes given for student papers. One prize will be for the best undergraduate paper and one will be for the best graduate student paper. The paper need not feature new data but must be an original, substantive contribution in any sub-discipline of anthropology.

• The paper may not exceed 12 double-spaced pages in length.
• The written version of the paper must be prepared in American Anthropologist or American Antiquity style.
• Font size should be 12 point.
• Presentation by the author at the Conference will be required.
• Each student paper must have a faculty sponsor whose name is stated on the written version.
• The written papers submitted to the contest must be essentially the same as the paper that will be presented at the conference. No unfinished or draft papers will be accepted. Presentation at the Conference requires submitting an abstract and registration.
